This weeks food donation for the community fridge was a varied one - lots of bread and bakery items as well as a pile of runner beans (and the obligatory potatoes of course!)
As above. We need volunteers to pick up surplus food from designated businesses and drop it off at the Community Fridge. Quantities of food can vary but we will aim to match individual volunteers to particular pick-ups. Pick-ups are usually in the morning and the fridge is open during library opening hours. We are primarily a sustainability initiative.
