The magnificent 7, went to honey bee heaven, on a hot hot hot Wednesday in peckham!! Hurrah

It was sweaty and humid but glorious none the less, to pound pavements and dash off one massive hill, with this awesome crew from the south. All in the name of Goodgym and to give back to Grove Park Allotments this week. Yay!!

Leading the troops like always was me, with my trusty Pigeon Helena making sure we didn't get lost!! The atmosphere may have been muggy but it was also filled with awesome vibes and giggles all the way to the destaination.

Arriving on site the wonderful liz showed us all around and what a glorious sight we had to behold. After a long long winter and dark tree chopping it was delightful to cast our eyes over the sun drenching lush greens and fruit and veg filled garden of Eden, hidden in the subburbs of fair Peckham!!

Could we Bee any more excited, as we were shown all of the fruits of the allotments labours.... literally!! Including an excellent education in beehive maintence and production of natural honey!!! we were buzzing

Possibly one of the best tasks ever was to pick the raspberries and basket up.... Although it's safe to say a few may have got lost along the way, woops, oh come onnn it would have been rude not to! YUMMM!!!

Helena didn't mind getting her hands dirty squishing asparagus munching bugs, while Rob got well stuck into a tree sawing mission and plant watering Marathon!!

Ohhh the fun we had and honestly were so very sad when the time etched away and it was time to leave. But not before Sarah and I staged some hysterical fruit inspired selfies.... well at least we made ourselves laugh!!

The Run back was swift and breezy on the downhill and once more filled with catch ups and chats about all things fitness, fun and why we love to run.

Another Wednesday done and what a night!! A sweet task for the community with lots of treats to boot! Love my crew
