Jess, Gillian, Amanda, Carol and Sheila all gathered to help at the Baby Bank. Jess and Sheila were asked to clean a buggy - first task was to work out how to open it! We managed that, (well mostly) gave it a good scrub and left it to dry in the sun. We then joined Amanda and Gillian sorting clothes upstairs. Ruthless was the name of the game - rejecting anything that wasn't in tip top condition - whatever the brand, or however cute! Meanwhile Carol helped another volunteer manning the door, dealing with donations and people collecting referrals. Another busy, but productive morning

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
