It's Saturday, which means I'm cycling to Windsor to pay delightful Mrs D a visit. Nothing much different today, an overcast but warm day with some spots of rain on return. Mrs D opened the door for me, all smiles - she loves her social visits, and she wanted a few buttercups from the lawn in her front garden, which I picked for her. 💐Then we sat ourselves down and she started telling me stories. She was a bit upset by a visit she had the other day from 'this woman', who went through her cabinets and threw everything out that was past its best by date. Especially the medicine cabinet which now has only three items left... She recons this is all her son's doing! I don't envy him for what he's going to get when he next visits her ... Other than that, Mrs D is her usual self, we revisited a few stories from the time she was in the hospital and had a bit of a laugh at life's twists and turns.
