Saving the back garden for a (non)rainy day
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Saturday, 25th of July 2020
Bea and I were tasked with clearing both the front garden and back garden today, and Bea to her credit was double good-deeding today so she had hot footed it over from Newham from some gardening this morning and was therefore nicely set for more weeding and clearing.
As it was Mrs N was keen for us to just tackle the front garden today given the limited time on hand and the looming rain, and set up another appointment for the back garden (on a hopefully more pleasant day).
So we tackled a number of weeds (and litter picking) that had spring up outside her house in the last couple of months. We were careful to both socially distance from each other and the myriad of stinging nettles (with mixed success on the latter) but in just over an hour we had transformed the setting and Mrs N was most pleased with our handiwork.

Amazing work Leo and Bea! Hope the stinging nettles weren't too aggressive!
