Share the love

The Baby Bank were delighted to hear that 4 Goodgym volunteers were going to help out this morning. They had just had a large donation of nappies, food and toiletries delivered, and were expecting several schools to deliver donations of clothes and toys collected together by the children. Laura, Gillian, Rachel and Sheila set to work putting the first items away, so making space for the next deliveries. We had just finished, and had time to make a cuppa, before the school deliveries arrived. These were taken upstairs, and we set straight to work again, finding homes for the piles of clothes that had been sorted by one of the volunteer corporate teams earlier in the week. We could really see the difference we had made today before the half-term break. Well done, team!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
