7 very damp Goodgymmers made their way to T On The Green for an evening of flipping tables and tea parties.

Sarah's At The Wheel!

Big WOOP WOOP for Goodgym legend and GGH founding member Sarah who boogied and grooved her way to 350 tasks with finesse and panache. Hero!

A Mad Hatters Tea Party in N17

Snow, sludge, and a multitude of Spurs fans prevented us from visiting T On The Green last week, so we weren't going to let a bit of a downpour stop us from visiting tonight! Wet as an otter's pocket, our Goodgymmers arrived in waves to the green where a very warmhearted but chilly Carol welcomed us with open arms.

The plan for the night had been to give the planters on the green a lick of paint and also some picnic table maintenance but with everything under water, Carol had us turn our attention to the indoor tables instead. Months of overexcited patrons and exuberant use have resulted in plenty of wonky table legs and chairs in need of a tune up.

Dave, Charlie, and Gramps arrived a bit early and wasted no time in locating the toolbox and started flipping tables to be fixed. While they were at it, SuperSarah '350 Woop Woop' Moore, Julie, Latoya, and Neil arrived and joined in the fun.

In no time, the indoor tables were fixed, chairs tuned up, piled up, and stored away.

We tidied the wet green as much as we could, we swept the cafe, we even - and I kid you not - washed all the dog water bowls.

Once we were satisfied that Carol got her money's worth from our visit, we took over the vintage tea room and posed for photos as Gramps winced in fear of broken crockery.

We then ran into the night as a group, in search of pizza and warmth. An ace evening.

Not one, not two, but three tasks next week. Join us!
