Back in May, Gary and I had a good go at resolving the thorny dilemma in Mrs D's backgarden as the blackberry bushes were threatening to take it all over.

Roll on a couple of months and Dave, Fi and I return for Season 2: battle against bramble invasion. On a sunny late afternoon we were warmly greated by Mrs D and her dog, Flo and we quickly got to work slashing back the overgrown bramble bushes. It was hard and hot work but with 90 minutes on the clock we quickly got into the flo' of it and made a real difference to the look of the garden. We also uncovered a couple of bikes that had been hidden in the bramble bushes as well as finding a squeaky toy for Flo.

Mrs D and Flo were both excited to see how much progress we had made in the garden whilst they'd been watching Wimbledon (Konta lost her match though which had upset Flo). We said goodbye and left Flo playing with the squeaky penguin toy we'd found. Excuse the shaky photography but my arms were so knackered after all the bramble bashing, I could barely hold up my phone.
