For the latest Saturday run we headed back to Brandon Hill, the spiritual home of GoodGym Bristol. After meeting at Roll for the Soul as usual we headed for a longer run around the harbour, with a bit of dynamic stretches thrown in on the way, and then up the big hill to Brandon Hill.
Our task was to clear the branches around the bottom of the lime trees around the park, and fully tooled up with loppers and shears we set at our task with loads of enthusiasm, clearing almost all the trees before the time ran out.
We completed the run with a couple of laps of the top of Brandon Hill, including a sprint finish won by Olivia, and then ran back to Roll for the Soul.
A great way to see Bristol on a beautiful autumn day! Thanks to Fraser from Friends of Brandon Hill for arranging the task and coming on the run, and to everyone else that came too.
