Big thanks to Richard for agreeing to meet me in town today so that we could run over to Withywood together which meant that there could be no way that I could be tempted to find an alternative means of transport to this morning's mission.

The weather gods were smiling on us this morning as beautiful clear blue skies led us out south of the river, along the Malago Greenway and up the hill to our destination and whilst the sun shone throughout it wasn't too warm - pretty much perfect running conditions.

Mrs A greeted us and gave us some boxes to take out to her shed and asked us to rescue some steps from the shed which we managed to locate under piles of bags and boxes.

Thinking that it would be nice to be able to locate things more easily in the shed and make it easier to move around in their we agreed to have a bit of a tidy up - moving lots of stuff out and then back in again in a more orderly fashion.

Richard even had time to untangle a long electricity extension lead and wind this back in so that Mrs A could use this with greater ease and safety.

Our work done, we bid farewell to a very happy Mrs A and decided to run back a slightly different route so that we could run through the Manor Woods Valley and lo and behold we bumped into Martin, who we have done some Saturday group run tasks for.

We also passed GoodGym runner Alexandra on the way back through Bedminster - it was almost a case of "who are we going to spot next?"

Back in town we celebrated with a coffee, cake and teacake and both agreed that it had been an ideal way to spend our Sunday morning.
