4 Bristol GoodGymmers aced a Saturday afternoon mission to move furniture for Ms W in Henleaze
Hotfooting from Saturday mornings GoodGym task in town, I met up with Ian, Rich and Charlie (who had just nailed a 20 mile marathon training run) this afternoon to help Ms W shift some furniture at her flat as she needs to have this rewired and the electrician needed to have access to the walls around her living room.
Greeted by Ms W and her cat, Ameera, (who had the coolest adventure playground in the living room!) we set about clearing books from the bookcase, with Rich and Charlie carefully packing these in boxes, whilst Ian set about taking down various paintings and pictures from around the flat.
We were then able to move the boxes of books and bookcase into the middle of the room, together with a table and other units from over the other side of the room, amazingly without breaking or knocking over anything (there may have been a couple of close shaves and wobbles but everything remained intact.)
45 minutes later and with some pastries in our bellies we were done to the obvious delight of our host, who may very well want us back to help with some decorating and moving back the furniture again.
I think this was Ian's first mission too - nice one sir!
Short and sweet - it worked a treat!

Great job with the report Dave :)
Great report Dave :)
Thanks - sorry about the lack of pictures!
Quality not quantity. Shame we didn't get you in a picture!
I just got the pun. Naughty, but nice work!
