Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Leo
I bumped into Rosa in the small park not far from Mrs M's house, which was fortunate as between us were were able to find the place which was (as we had been warned) a little tucked away. Not long after we arrived Mrs M's daughter showed up to let us in and let us know what was required to be moved.
We needed to make sufficient space in the living room to be able to fit a hospital bed to accomodate Mrs M's return from hospital shortly. It was a straight-forward enough task with just a sofa, an armchair and a few smaller pieces of furniture to shift across the landing into the bedroom.
The sofa was first up, and after quickly determining it wasn't fitting through the doorway easily, with a bit of jiggery-pokery we managed to bumhustle the upended sofa through both doorframes and lay it in its side in the bedroom. It was followed shortly by an armchair as we employed a similar manoeuvre to get it into the small bedroom.
As the sofa had taken up a lot of space we deliberated how best to slot it in, but Rosa, alikening the challenge to a game of Tetris suggested turning it over completely to slot it in alongside the end of the sofa which worked magnificentally. Thus disproving that opinion that computer games have no real life applicability!
To finish up we helped move a few items off a small cabinet so that too could be shifted to free up valuable space for the imminent arrival of the bed. Mrs M's daughter was most pleased with our help, wishing us well as we departed, both very pleased to have helped out.

Well done both on this mission! Rosa, great work applying your Tetris skills! Leo, excellent use of the word 'bumhustle' hahaha
