No takers for the at-home Training Session scheduled to replace the missing Monday Richmond Group Run.

Tonight’s ‘Home Warehouse Challenge’ would have been a 7.8 Km run (or a 27 minute home cardio session) followed by a chance to try out a yoga ‘Sun Salutation’ sequence.

So just one lonely GoodGymer, cycling from Richmond to Acton Park Trading Estate, for a 4 to 8 pm warehouse shift with food re-distributor charity City Harvest.

4pm on a bank holiday Easter Monday, during Covid-19 lockdown, the trading estate was almost deserted, just a handful of City Harvest staff and volunteers clearing up in Unit 22. With no Amazon delivery expected, there wasn’t the usual frenetic activity and after an hour of washing and sorting crates and sorting stale and spoilt food for pig-feed and bio-fuel, it was time to cycle home.
