So another beautiful Friday morning and it was time for my shift at the Birmingham Central Foodbank. We had a smaller number of volunteers today but due to all of the hard work put in over the last few weeks everything is looking neat and tidy. We had quite a large donation which needed to be weighed and sorted whilst ensuring we had food packages prepared for the clients that visited. After a very tasty piece of lemon drizzle cake to celebrate Sue’s birthday it was time to finish the shift!
