Shovellin' Sundays
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Sunday, 15th of November 2015
Basking in the glory of the (November!) sun, I met Lucy in the early afternoon to prune, shovel, and generally tidy up Mr M's garden following on from a previous GoodGym visit a week ago.
Following a brief set of instructions from Mr M, we got stuck into weeding and tidying, using the vast array of tools that Mr M had provided. After about an hour of weeding, we made short work of the small tree with some very strategic shearing and cutting. Sadly the root still remains - any other GoodGymers a bit more handy with a saw?
Leaving the garden looking a fair bit better, and having taken a mountain of green bags outside, we said our goodbyes to Mr M and headed off. Definitely the best way to spend a Sunday outside of the pub!
