I met Bob from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) and 7 volunteers from Friends of Haymill to find out what the jobs for today were.
We split into 3 groups with Bob, Callum, Vanda, Jenny, Vinay and Tina taking separate areas of the path which had recently had bushes cut back, to clear away the cuttings; Phil was on litter picking duty and Mark and I were tasked with putting up three new information signs at key points around the reserve. By the end of the session 3 bags of litter had been removed, 4 tarpaulins of cuttings relocated and 3 signs securely sited.
