We had a cry for help this weekend for an extra session at the allotment. It was a bit short notice but we pretty quickly had 4 people signed up eager to help.

Linda and James arrived first and started following Lorena from SHP’s clues to where the plants, shrubs and trees were to be planted. The grass has grown so much lately it turned out to be quite a treasure hunt but pretty soon all plants were found.

Kathryn and Vikki soon arrived and we divided the jobs up between us. Linda and James planted the fruit trees, Kathryn took on the Rosemary and some other thingys and Vikki put in the whateverthey’recalled... well... none of us pretend to be gardeners🤷🏼‍♀️

Everything got watered in, we had a quick tidy up and another GGR task was completed. Well done everyone! 💪

We had two cycling to site, one runner and one who did a half marathon the day before so was forgiven for arriving on four wheels. 😊
