Laura and Sheila helped out at Braywick Heath Nurseries. The new manager asked us to tidy up the outside plant sales area - either throwing away or transferring any ailing plants to the greenhouse for extra care, grouping like-plants together, sweeping up leaves and retrieving old pots and labels that fallen between the benches As we worked, we could hear a robin singing enthusiastically, and spotted him in an olive bush only a couple of feet away from our heads. Beautiful! Spot the robon in the picture! We were pleased with our work, and the area now looks much more welcoming for customers.

We are a small garden garden centre providing volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with support needs

We run a not-for-profit company, supported by paid staff & community volunteers to provide volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with a wide range of support needs. We are currently having a big clear out across our site, and need help moving all of the material to a skip. This will enable us to better use the space we have to expand our operations and better support our volunteers and staff.
