Report written by Tabitha Skinner
Pete and Tabitha met in Willesden and each chose a few exercises to warm and loosen up . We then ran the scenic route through the lovely Gladstone park to Clitterhouse farm where our fellow goodgymers Danny and Kat had already arrived and got stuck in. Danny and Kat had to dilute and divide 12million nematodes, splitting them into 8 watering cans to add to the raised beds, it is a natural slug controller and should protect the crops that Clitterhouse are going.
The back of the garden needed a clear out and Pete Pete wheelbarrowed barrowloads of garbage out of the garden. The final task was clearing out the outdoor shelves and tidying the huge stash of garden nets, pots and compost bags. Tabitha made a start but once the other jobs were complete , it was all hands on deck. Folding metres of nettting is much easier in a team! Chatting as we went, the time flew by and by the time we had finished the back of the garden looked much neater and far more organised.
We said goodbye, promised to return again soon and made our way back
Great work by all, see you next time!
