Mrs J showed Sam and I through to her garden explaining that we must not let her cat escape outside. We opened the door to the garden and the cat immediately escaped. Sam with lightning fast reactions grabbed it as it tried to make its way to freedom over the garden wall.

The garden was quite overgrown so we got to work cutting back ivy, brambles and weeds. As we stared to cut back the ivy we noticed the occasional spider, luckily both Me and Sam are big, brave and not scared(1) The more we cut back we noticed that there were a few(2) more spiders but we didn't let that get in the way. When each spider came out from behind the ivy we both calmly ignored them(3) Once the ivy was cut back our job was to remove an old deckchair that was rotting in the soil, as Sam moved it another spider (4) ran out from beneath.

After an hour we had the garden looking a lot nicer, Mrs J would be able to enjoy sitting out with her 8 legged friends all summer and seemed very happy with the work we had done. We said goodbye and headed back to work feeling we had conquered our fear of spiders(5)
