This was my 2nd visit to see Mrs E as she had said she would like us to meet up again. Her new chair has arrived which goes up and down with an electric controller. She is pleased with it. Lots of chat about our families and how lucky we both are to have such wonderful children and grandchildren. She has great grandchildren as well and her son calls her every day and visits every month. He lives nearly 4 hours away and often his is the only voice she hears on some days. Having said that she is quite active still despite her lack of mobility and goes to 2coffee mornings each week. They are currently knitting squares to make up a patchwork blanket. I really enjoyed our time together.
