Tonight 5 GoodGym members came together for a training session to reboost their running form..

There were lots of moans and groans as Becky put them through their paces. Using cleverly positioned cones, which involved a slight advantage on one side as Becky forgot the ruler. The Goodgymer's went back to basics with some running drills. High knees, forget me not squats whilst looking at the flowers, walking lunges, beautiful skipping and some strides kicked off the session.

There appeared to be several stiff legs tonight and a moan about what tomorrow would bring.....

So to make it even better a Paarlauf was put in place and an offer to do a shorter route, but four brave souls decided to take on the full distance version.

After lap 1 there was a discussion about who was the idiot that agreed to the long lap....

Paarlauf is great fun as it gives you a chance to run in a pair, heading off in opposite directions, A going off fast and B walking/jogging, once you meet you swap. Anyone can take part no matter skill or speed.

As one lap was too easy Iain decided to carry on having passed Phil and ended up doing a whole lap fast. A very brave man... Two more laps followed and then a nice cool down around the play ground, although no one was tempted to go on the swings to escape the stretching.

Well done to the brave and intrepid explorers tonight, bringing group fitness back was an absolute joy for Becky. She's forgotten how much fun it is making you all sweat.

It would be amazing to see some more of you next week...
