Dom and I met Ms M from the British Red Cross and she showed us into the living room and explained what needed doing for Ms P. At first look it seemed it would be another hopefully straightforward chair and sofa moving task - our bigger challenge was where to put the items that needed moving. Dom did some scouting to see if there was space upstairs, but in the end we decided everything could fit in the dining room if we moved the table and juggled the numerous chairs around.

Of course, the sofa was just a bit too big to get through the living room door, and so it needed a bit of rotating in all directions (challenging our spatial awareness...), before then hitting an inconveniently located shelf, which we then temporarily removed, in the hallway.

Thankfully the two armchairs were an easier move, and before long we'd cleared the necessary space in the living room for Ms M to then decide how the medical bed could best fit for Ms P. The bed was due to arrive later in the afternoon and so after a brief chat with Ms M about GoodGym and all we do, we left her to await the Medequip team, hoping the bed would fit through the door and into the living room with fewer challenges!
