At about midday, a somewhat wet and bedraggled trio met at the gate of Ms J's cul de sac. Well, that isn't quite true, Latoya and I were decidedly soggy but Peter, having strolled the 50m from his office, dressed in appropriate weather-wear, looked dry, rested and ready for whatever the mission threw at us. Abi was close but, unfortunately, on the wrong side of a high wall. (Flipping Google maps!) We found Ms J's flat easily and her cleaner let us in. Ms J's flat is small but some of her furniture is large so moving things from the living room to the bedroom to make room for a specialised bed in the living room was a little like playing with one of those toys where you have to move squares about to make a pattern. (Not for the first time I thought how useful it would be to be able to move things with the power of the mind, as actually being in the space made moving things in it so much harder!) It turns out that Latoya is a master strategist when it comes to getting large armchairs through narrow doorways. A low growling sound and the sound of four pairs of hobnailed boots under the sofa alerted us to the presence of a spider. Luckily, Abi is an expert arachnid-whisperer and the situation went from Spider Code Red back to Green in no time! I definitely want Latoya and Abi on my team. Peter is welcome too! Ms J is an optimistic yet pragmatic woman. She had planned what needed to be done and supervised us beautifully so we know that we have left her with things exactly as she wished. Latoya, Abi and Peter, thank you for being so wonderful to work with. I am really sorry that I have let you down so badly with the pun.

As soon as I uploaded/downloaded (whatever) this report to the cyberworld I realised that the word I struggled for and gave up on whilst typing is 'telekinesis' or, maybe, 'psycokinesis'. If anyone can confirm the word for using the mind to move things, please do!

Nice write-up Annie! the 'something-kinesis' puzzle sounds like a nice challenge for Abi on her trip to the shindig! ;-)

Great work guys, and the spider situation was dealt with well, too!
