Sorting and Sizing at Sam's Place
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Samaritans of Portsmouth & East Hampshire in Portsmouth.

After a coffee and catch up with the morning team to celebrate Katie's 200th task and admire the lovely Cape that Jen made, we started the pm session with Louise, Dr Jo, Lynne and Mel. Continuing with sorting through a carpet of black bin liners filled with Women's clothing - tops (Louise & Mel), jackets (Dr Jo), skirts and trousers (Lynne), it looked like a massive task. Molly the dog was wandering around looking for something to sit on and eventually took a fancy to one of the jackets that Jo had started a pile with but quickly moved on to say hello to everyone else. We had some good sounds going in the background which prompted some singing and a bit of dancing. Time flew and as we built up the piles, Anne was collecting them to move them on to the next sorting phase - the black bags quickly disappeared. At the end of the session, Lynne made a couple of purchases and we all set off home, out into the sunshine.

I love combining exercise with doing good with Goodgym. Add to that, we are able to do it by the seaside and that's close to being perfect!
