When I arrived, it was busy at the door and not many volunteers on site to help today, so I got cracking and started sorting the donations. I then helped with a couple of referrals for winter clothes for local teenagers... and did some more sorting! It feels like an endless pile of donations sometimes but I know that every session we do really helps them out and the items go to very appreciative local families!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
