Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by John Shirley
There’s always something to do at our monthly rendezvous with Crouch End Open Space, and this time we attracted runners from Haringey, Islington, Camden, Southwark, Lambeth and Redbridge!
A big pile of steaming mulch, of varying colour and consistency, had to be shovelled into wheelbarrows, transported and spread over a path, with the previous, downtrodden mulch dug up and relocated to another space.
There was also litter to be picked up, and poplar and brambles to be cut back. Some people just didn’t want to stop! But eventually, after a picnic of rolls, pickle, tomatoes, crisps and cider, we headed home in our many different directions. But we’ll be back!
