Last GG Brent of September - Report By Rasi
Street Lamps, Red Moons, Bike Lights and Torches........ Goodbye summer & hello Dark nights GoodGym, autumn is here.
After being serenaded by Ellie and her David Guest & friends fuelled weekend we were ready for just about anything. That twinned with the newly received awesomeness from the red moon the night before... the GoodGym Brent squad were deployed. Our destination - The 3rd Wembley, Scout Group in Alperton. 11 kilometres of...erm yh running.
This time round it was a Boyzone with only 3 girls to the 5 guys..and I dont mean the burger chain lol. No matter what was in our way, with our adrenaline turnt all the way up we took the lead.
Whilst stopping for a quick stretch we were approched by two police officers (no pun intended) asking if we can do the human flag? Yh right on yer bike!!
The task was just what we all needed. Weeding, shovelling and hacking away under the floodlights, head torches and bike lights, to our hearts content. It was quite therapeutic ...
After a glass of the sweetest orange squash you will ever taste (thanks as always Jay) and we were on the move again.
Ellie clearly had drunk more squash than we had anticipated (zero glasses) and decided we should do some core exercises en route bk. Planking it with some knee to AB crunches, boy we were being worked but the teamwork and motivation got us through.
Running back and forth to play catch up and spur on those feeling the burn we made it to the travellator....... that is Uffington Road. We had a nice steady climb to the end and we was run..I mean dun. LIKE HELL WE WERE this is GoodGym Brent.
Ellie...Yes Ellie decided we have to finish our core with 100 sit ups ironically outside the gym...of course we bossed it.
WE RUNS THIS!!!

Great run report; love it! Well done on the long run and 100 sit ups, too!
Cheers Patrick ;)
