Thank you to the 2 runners Rebecca and Liz who volunteered this Saturday morning at Norwich parkrun.

Rebecca was on her favourite finishing funnel role, cajoling all the way!

Liz was giving hope to all by recording names and numbers for dodgy barcodes!

Remember #DFYB ........'Don't forget your barcode' else you wont get a time.

Our own Goodgymmer Brad Day ran this week (Sorry if I've missed anyone off the list)

This week 525 parkrunners did their thing around Eaton park - a great way to start the weekend.

What the results say:

Thomas Hook of CONAC gained himself a new PB with a time of 15:41.

18x Road Runners and CONAC'S ran our paths.

14x Gazelles leaped around the course.

11 x runners from Tri-Anglia joined us.

6x runners from Wymondham AC ....(Looking forward to the Wymondham 20 Miler guys!)

Love parkrun? Give some love back by volunteering!

Volunteer on a Saturday morning during the month of March, at Norwich parkrun (Eaton Park).

Meet at the bandstand at 8:30am with the run director and the other high-viz heroes.

You will have a full briefing of the mornings events and how to best support everyone participating at parkrun.

Tasks are varied and include: marshalling, scanning, giving out & sorting finish tokens, tail - walker and many more. All of the tasks are explained in full, easy to do and the tasks are a fun insight into how parkrun runs!

The volunteering role usually finishes around 10-10:30am.

Volunteering is awesome for example if you are injured, getting into running, have a race on the Sunday!, want to give back to the parkrun community and gaining new experiences in volunteering roles.

You will receive a point on your parkrun profile, if you volunteer 25 times you will gain a free purple 25 volunteer t-shirt!

If you would like to volunteer at Norwich parkrun and in turn receive a Goodgym good deed you will need to email: norwich@parkrun.com

to let them know you are able to volunteer. Also let them know in your e-mail that you are part of Norwich Goodgym!

Looking forward to seeing you there, Hayley :)
