An early start to run the 6 miles to the mission this morning to help a vulnerable lady who cannot leave the house due to disability. Upon arrival, we maintained a very social distance as the lady read out her shopping list, which instantly made me hungry! A lovely list of fresh fruit and vegetables for the weekly shop - which I knew could be difficult considering the current state of most supermarket shelves.

Off I went, list in hand, to find the best veggies in Greenford! First stop, Tescos where I managed to find most items. Perhaps the shopping hysteria is fading?! It was pretty hard not to get sidetracked with the Easter Chocolate. Two items short, I needed Spring Onions and Sweet Potatoes, so I wandered down the local street to find a grocery store receiving it's daily delivery! A little bit of luck was exactly what was needed to get the full list back to the very grateful lady.

We parted with my preaching about the hand washing and hopefully someone will be enjoying some lovely soups this week :)
