Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Anastasia Hancock (she/her)
This week's challenge was to tick off a series of items on a run, and the results were not only creative and funny but showed some of the pretty exciting things we've got on our very doorsteps!
The list included:
A dog wearing a coat or clothes of some kind - check out some of the well dressed pups spotted by Alanna, Andy, Michelle, Sarah and Johnny - some of them have better wardrobes than me!)
A street name which features something to do with your favourite holiday destination - we're missing all sorts of places, including Italy and Sussex. Not long to wait now guys!
Some interesting graffiti - some of the street art you spotted was spectacular, check out the walls Andy and Michelle spotted in Chiswick
A beautiful view - Some belters here, including one with a bonus fun fact from Sarah and Johnny who spotted that the greenhouse at Avery Hill Park is the UK's second largest wintergarden after Kew, and Alanna's beautiul boat.
One hill - with a mini sprint challenge thrown in for good measure
A road, street name, junction or roundabout that starts with the same letter as your first name - Double points to Johnny who got both initials in one street name!
A café, restaurant or pub that has a pun in it - Kudos for Andy and Michelle's 'Rhythm and Brews'! Talking of puns, Sarah also came up with these crackers for her and Johnny's run in Avery Park - " Averybody Wants to Run the World 🎵 " 🎵 Avery Breath You Take 🎵!
A tree you think is older than you - Check out Andy and his favourite tree
A bench with a nice inscription - some beautiful ones here, such as this one in Chiswick - 'She took it to the limit and beyond'. Great inspiration for our runs!
A sign of positivity - you guys really found reasons to be cheerful in all your local areas. Thanks for being GoodGym rays of sunshine!
