Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
This Monday's Good Gym run took 16 runners down to Stepney City Farm for a dual task of wood and compost shifting.
With Bethnal Green's regular run leaders taking well-deserved holidays, Rebecca and William stepped up to rally the troops.
After jumping around in the Arch Gallery to warm up, the group was guided on a 3k run through Bethnal Green gardens and down to the farm where Katherine appointed groups to three different areas: stocking the wood pile for use as charcoal (a new undertaking for the farm), whizzing wheelbarrows back and forth and wrangling the compost heap.
After 40 minutes of helping out, the group split into two, with half forgoing a direct route for a longer canalside run.
The evening's activities were rounded off with an invitation to Good Gym Hackney's barbecue at Netil House this Friday. Take a look at Facebook for details of the festivities.
