So after last weeks holier than thou speech about too many unnecessary cars on the road I decided to avoid the 10k round trip walk with storm Barra expected any minute and drive to my “coach” JJ. Cups of tea in hand we chatted companionably about what we’d been doing during the week and about our plans for Christmas. The hour passed quickly and I was on my way again but not before I almost backed into her garage doors 🙈 After all that the storm hadn’t got underway at all by the time I got home. Next time perhaps I’ll pop on my wellies and be prepared to tough it out. ☔️
