It's always great fun being down at the allotment with the Goodgym gang and tonight was no exception.

Tonight was predominantly spent weeding the beds and other parts of the garden area to get it all spruced up and looking nice (not that it didn't already look nice!!). Maurice and Barry also did some more soil shifting and Barry and Karen prepped and laid some new wood chippings down on a small area with a seated bench. Oh and we also planted some more seeds - carrots being among them.

Oh, and Maurice & Karen came up with an amazing DIY sprinkler system..... a watering can and a plant pot!!! Genius!! And it did the job perfectly!

There's always plenty to do down at the allotment to keep us busy and it's great to check in and see how it's looking - we love hearing that the produce is being used by the community kitchen.

It's just a delight to be there and making a difference to our fabulous community.
