ONCE UPON A TIME…two GG runners, Lenka and Africa, were going to join forces and run to their mission in a lovely sunny Sunday wonder to help an elder lady, BUT…

At the last minute, one GG runner had to cancel her mission due to unforeseen circumstances. Africa was feeling worried and lost as she did not know what to do…after many email, messages and WhatsApp crying up for help; THREE MUSKETEER (Samia, Beth and Catriona) appeared to help her. Thank you to their support and advice this GG runner got in touch with Mrs. L from FiSH, Mrs. M (elder lady) and Lenka ..and all of them agreed to carry out the mission the day after.

So, here we go...SECOND UPON A TIME...two GG runners full of energy, wearing sunnies and gloves run to help Ms. M. on a sunny bank holiday Monday.

Lenka and Africa met Mrs. L from FiSH at Ms. M.’s step door. Unfortunately Ms. M. has recently suffered from a stroke, making her unable to enjoy or work in her garden as she is on a wheelchair.

Using the tools given by Mrs L. Lenka, Africa and with the help from Mrs L., we have managed to weed and trim the back of the garden. We have surprisingly filled up 6 garden bags and 3 rubbish bags and as Mrs L stated: “We have let light into the garden which will be so much nicer from Ms M to look at”

We hope Mrs L gets a ramp and Ms M. can access and enjoy her garden with her friends!!

Happily even after…mission ended!!
