This week Victoria, Richard D, James, Anne and Alys, met at Woking Park to marshal the 161st event of junior parkrun. We were grateful to Rich A who accepted to be our official photographer once again, see how skilled he is…

Alys was responsible to give out the tokens to the runners, James left Rich A responsible for the timing, Victoria, Richard D and Anne marshaled along the 2 kms route, cheering and clapping the 92 children who took part on this sunny and frosty morning. It was a happy atmosphere with several children and parents taking the time to greet us too.

Well done to Holly and James who completed another Brutal yesterday… it looked like loads of sweat, blood and mud were involved! Congratulations to Adam who completed the Wokingham half –in preparation for next week Surrey half? James, Victoria will join him then; Richard D will take part in the 5 km while Becky McAlees and Anne will hand out the medals!

But first, this coming Wednesday we will meet at Woking Leisure Centre to do some litter picking with a difference… Remember your torches!
