23 Goodgymers ran 7-8km to help Antrim Allotments with various gardening work
Thanks for coming along guys - welcome along to Tilly, Iona and Emma whose first times it was last night :)
In the news this week:
We met at the fantastic and air conditioned Francis Crick Institute for the first time this summer - we really appreciate being able to meet here as the Living Centre is closed for the School holidays.
After warming up we headed north in two groups, one led by Pritesh which went a little further. Everyone did amazingly in the heat, especially up those hills!

Upon our arrival we had some water and met Michael. He said us up to do the following tasks:
All of the clearing, digging and weeding we did makes a huge difference to the allotment, these can now be turned into usable plots with flowers, veg and fruit growing. We could already see evidence of the work we'd done last time we were an Antrim - I am sure it'll be the same when we visit them for the last time this summer in late August.
Once we'd taken a lovely group picture we headed back down the hill home.
Next week we have two NEW TASKS helping Coram Fields and Heath Hands - sign up here.
