Unlike last weeks rain soaked effort, the run into town was pleasantly sunny today. Having learnt the ropes a little on previous visits, I got set to work sanitising kindly donated cots and beds. After which, I put together some toiletry hampers for some well deserving mothers. Suddenly, with time having flown so swiftly, it was off into a light drizzle for a run back home. Thanks again to the amazing team at the Baby Bank for always being so welcoming and for the great work they do.

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
