Sunny Saturday Food delivery
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Saturday, 30th of April 2022
Returning to this welcoming food bank with smiling and helpful volunteers was very pleasant. After provided the secret code, I was presented with two full crates of foods and 2 paper bags of fresh fruits and vegetables. Over 30 tins of canned food, bags of juices, milks, sugars etc, total weight of around 45kgs I estimated, all packed in to my rucksack and 3 large carriers bags. Off I went on my Brompton bike which I felt sorry for it. Mrs N was pleased and grateful to see me at the door with the food while she was going to start her day. I left her feeling grateful that I was able to help, also the less fortunate groups in the society are not forgotten. I would like to dedicate my good deed to my very dear friend Jen C who will be celebrating her big birthday on Monday! Happy birthday Jen.
