Swing when you're GoodGyming
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Saturday, 26th of September 2015
On Saturday afternoon, after a morning starter session followed by a pub lunch, Patrick, Paul and Beth made their way to Homerton to dismantle a swing. Paul had never been before but Patrick knew the garden well having already been there twice this month. Knowing what to expect meant that he came well prepared with an extensive tool box and WD40 that had already been used to great effect earlier in the day.
Luckily the swing wasn't nearly as rusted together as we feared and after a good bit of team work the swing was in pieces on the floor in no time. It may have been one of the quickest missions that we had all done but it was great to see the transformation that has gone on in the garden over the last few weeks.
