This is my first run report from leading my first group run! (eek!) Thanks to the 15 runners who joined in this evening! Welcome to Ellie and Joel who joined us for the first time! Hi also to Joe who met us at the task!

We ran under the Bridge of Sighs, down Queens Lane (one of the best lanes in Oxford!) to Little Clarendon Street, The new home of the Oxford Hub.

We swept and cleaned floors, we scrubbed mirrors, and painted walls We made white stripes and black signs, and made a right mess on their floor!! ;)

We ate yummy buiscuits from Emma and then we ran on a busy Iffley Track to burn off any energy left!

We talked about music for GoodGym's 10th Birthday this Friday The Runner by Foals winning closely over songs by Vampire Weekend Oxford Comma, Gaz Coombes running as the strongest man in Detroit Hugh and Cry's classic Looking for Litter!.
We remembered that ultimately we are all Wombles (well maybe not!!) and I resisted saying I'd written a song about running too! The Start Line.. isn't that what we all do? Happy Birthday Goodgym, our suggestion is winging its way to you now!

Have you got another track which is your fav / gets you inspired to run or be active / or represents Oxford somehow.. tell us on our social media! (maybe we'll create our own playlist!) :)

Have a great week, and do go to the Town Hall Community mission if you are free on Saturday 8am-10am!
