On a chilly winter night, three of Goodgym Redbridge's most dedicated runners met to help Wanstead Community Gardeners and ran 7km in the process.

With the Central line in chaos, only Peter, James and Carly were available to meet with Marian at The Corner House in Wanstead. But low numbers don't mean any less enthusiasm and before long the team were moving garden waste into recycling bags and bashing holes in a new tank planter which will be a home for herbs for the cook at AgeUK - lets just say she's pretty excited!

With the task done in less than 15 minutes, it left an extended time for the group to head out to the streets to get some miles in. 7km in the bag on a Monday evening. Boom! That's the way to start the week!

Fancy getting involved? Join us next week when we head back to get messy with the Forest Recycling Project. You can sign up for the task here.

Hope to see you!
