Teaching a retired teacher!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Today at my visit with Mrs S, we had a short class - she had borrowed a tablet from the library and wanted a quick tutorial (in her usual lovely style, only if it wasn't a trouble for me).
I'm sure she was a good teacher, she is certainly a top student! I explained some apps and usage, and she was very quick on the uptake. The way she was already scrolling, pinching & zooming, typing with fair speed and clicking with the right pressure, I have no doubt soon she'll be a master user.
She hadn't forgotten about the aerial photo of Maidenhead I took last time, but being an honest student (😉) asked for more time as she wanted to sit down with it at the library to work it out. We talked about how she could now use the tablet to look up old photos as well to help her. She is very pleased with the task though, and that really was my main aim!

What a useful lesson, well done Kanika!! Mrs. S will be able to reach out and help herself to a world of information now.
