The ever cheerful Mr W presented me with his list today, but (and to his disappointment) I had to admit that back in the day my school didn't offer Eritrean classes and I would need his help in translating what he'd written.

As we did it via dictation I have no idea if my poor handwriting reflects what's actually on the list, but we got there in the end on his choice of goods, and there was even enough left over from the £20 to buy him some extra fruit, for which no translation was required to confirm he was clearly delighted about.
