Gwyn and Tracey enjoyed another fun-filled session at Monday Mates, a dementia-friendly cafe at Derbyshire's County Cricket Ground.

We helped with the hot drinks and biscuits, then joined in with colouring bookmarks, jigsaws, snap and animal bingo. Then there was a version of seated football, starting with one beachball, then two, then three, then adding other balls of different sizes and weights. Our job was to rescue the balls when they were kicked out of the "pitch" area.

Once the session was over, nobody seemed to want to go home, and several people headed out onto the balcony to watch the Sri Lankan team doing their warm-up exercises.
