Today Jenny, David and I went to help Ms D with her garden, when I say garden it's more like a corner of green heaven. Ms D was very pleased to see us. She's a gardener extraordinaire and loves looking after her beautiful, huge communal garden but unfortunately she's finding it harder to manage by herself now.

David and Jenny started by clearing the cherries and moss from the pavement which had fallen from a huge tree and could be a slippery hazard.

Ms D asked us to wrap a fern up for the winter to protect it from the winter elements. Jenny and I folded back the leaves and then cut it back so it could be wrapped. I wrapped it in bubble wrap which I found very strange and covered the crown of it in fleece. I resisted the urge to pop all the bubbles. Night fern.

Meanwhile David was very busy planting some bulbs in tubs on the railings, as well as some daffodils in the beds in the front garden to bring lots of colour in the spring. Jenny enjoyed pruning a couple of trees which she did a great job. It's a huge garden at the back as well as a smaller front garden which we could have easily had spent all day with many jobs to do but after a couple of hours we had to call it a wrap.

Good job guys and well done Jenny on her first mission.
