On Monday evening we helped the Chadwell Heath Community Centre - it was good to explore a new to us site and helped a new community on the border of Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham.

Helene and Vicky were already on site with James, Julia and Jenny (the 'J crew'... ) cycled from Barkingside using quieter roads, which made for a nice cycle and exercise!

Once we got there, we moved furniture like desk, cupboards, a safe (!), boxes of books and toys to their new spaces around the centre. Once we've done that, we moved on to uncover the new IT corner with all computers that were very dusty. It was quite a workout and as 4 out of 5 cycled we decided to call it a night!

A satisfying task with satisfying evening active travel - well done to everyone who came to the session!
