Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Tim Dickson
Whoa!! It was a hot one last night. With that, and loads of trains being cancel from London it was going to be a tough run and task this evening. But hey, we're Bexley Goodgym. No late trains, or warm weather is ever going to put us down 👊🏻😁 After signing in, doing some last adjustments to the leaflets it really didn't take us long to warm up 😟💦. Tonight's task was to do our biggest leaflet drop to date. We were running out to help [BATS Accessible Transport(www.bexleyct.co.uk), Greenwich & Bexley Hospice, Revival Cafe, Animal Protection Shops and of course our very own GoodGym. With great company comes great conversation. We chatted about last weeks QE Olympic Park 5K run 3 of our Bexley Goodgymers completed last week and about the up and coming events we are all looking forward to. 👍🏻 Like a well oiled machine we weaved in and out of the driveways, as well as chatting to curious bystanders heading to Crooklog Sports centre about who we are and what we do. It really didn't feel that long till we were all standing empty handed. This weeks task had been completed. It was now time to run back to Crooklog. Oh and did I say via our very own sit off challenge tunnel. For a few second I became a little unpopular 😂 Must of been the heat. I can't think of any other reason they would want to beat me. Ha, Ha.......... We everyone at there knees but still laughing and chatting we arrived back at Base Camp Crooklog for our cool down. Cooling down we didn't manage, but a good stretch we did. Bexley Goodgymers I just want to give a massive Hi 5 🙌🏻 For coming out to night. It was extreme tough, but oh so rewarding. Have the best week everyone. Tim
