Mrs E's son met us at the front door and led us into the living room to show us the armchair that needed removing so as to enable a specialist chair to be put in place to allow for Mrs E's safe discharge from hospital.

Fortunately it turned out this was one of those magic armchairs, such that once all the cushions had been removed and it was turned on its side, it became really light and manoeuvrable - so Shel and I quickly got to work moving it out through the front door (perfectly sized to fit) and Mrs E's son then guided us to its disposal location a short walk away.

Task successfully completed within five minutes - in the old world we'd have probably high fived all round - today was just a socially distanced thank you and masked goodbye to Mrs E's son...but that's all that was needed.
