Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Paul Salman
Paul and myself represented goodGym and the Tiny Forest Barnet at an eco-fair at One Stone Grove Community centre. Having cycled through very wet roads with much flooding it seemed appropriate to be talking about sustainability. The event was held at a modern new community facility in Edgware, North London. The £4.2million state of the art building is home to St Peter's Church, Little Leaders nursery & F.U.S.E Youth Project OneStonegrove brings people together from all backgrounds, ages, and religions to socialise together and build long-lasting friendships. Some of the participant included green doctor, Bike doctor, food banks, and recycling barnet. It was a good networking event in a beautiful new building. I checked out the modern new toilets and was amused to find out that the toilet I was in had been twinned with one in Pakistan. We cycled back in the dark and were glad to see it had stopped raining!
Barnet
It will help make the reservoir cleaner and safer for visitors and the many plants, birds and animals that live there.
